Using a different printer

Problem: When running a Pinewood Derby race, some users wish to use a different printer than the computer normally uses. For example, in normal use the computer uses a network printer which is obviously not available for the Pinewood Race (talk about a long cable!). Changing the printer for the Name Report changes it as well for the Car Number Report (they're the same report in a different order) but does not change it for the other reports.

Solution: Using standard Windows practice, click on Start/Settings/Printers. Right click on the printer icon for the printer you wish to use. Select 'Set as Default.' Then exit. The printer selected will automatically be used as the default printer in every RaceManager Report (as well as elsewhere by default). Don't forget to change it back later!!!
