SuperTrack Finish Line

A custom ABS shell with memory foam insert 'garage' at the end of the track stops the cars in individual tapered pockets that slow each car separately and safely while preventing the car from rebounding. This design, new in 2012, has 3.6" of vertical clearance, more than twice that of our original design. SuperTimer II and the garage slide onto the end of the track and are held by threaded rods, wing nuts and cap nuts all hand tightened thus preserving the "no tools needed" SuperTrack assembly.

The blue "stick" with black caps under the track just before the finish line provides plenty of room for wiring under the track.

Note the large lane numbers and flags which are also present at the start gate. SuperTrack is the only Pinewood Derby Track sent to you with these sensible extra touches. It's the most complete Pinewood Derby Track. The racers will be thrilled.

This picture shows a sensor and led in the sensor holder being installed (or removed) from the track finish line. Simply push the holder up through the hole on an angle, then place it in the precision cut hole from above. The rectangular lower section fits the hole precisely keeping it firmly in place. The triangular top section re-centers cars with narrow front ends or thin wheels. The finished clearance, set by the triangle thickness, is just 1/8 inch as the first picture shows.
