The Reports screen:
The Reports
screen has 11 buttons that access various reports. All of the reports may
be viewed or printed at virtually any time. They may be saved to disk in
one of five different formats.
Entries by Name, Division, City, Car #:
This report gives detailed information on each racer that includes
all the data entered in the Entries Screen
as well as the number of any run lost and, if they made it to placing,
their position. It is available in one of four sorted orders depending
on the button you click.
Runs Remaining, All Runs:
Identical to the Run sheet in the Schedule
screen. Runs Remaining is the same as All Runs but does not show the
runs that have been completed.
Bracket Aid:
This report is similar to All Runs but is sorted first by Division then by
Heat Number. Using this report it is fairly easy (though perhaps tedious for large
numbers of cars) to draw conventional double elimination brackets. See the
Bracket Aid explanation for a simplified explanation
of how to use this report.
Run Log:
The Log File is a data file called sbLog.dat. Each significant event
produces a line of text that includes the time of day. Since it completely documents
the race, it can be helpful
when someone approaches the judging stand with a question about a previous
run/heat. Like all the other files,
it can be converted to a text file by using the save dialog.
Winners:
Shows a list of Winners by Division and Place for each Division. Information
includes Sponsor and Losses.
City Winners:
Shows a list of Winners for each City where the City exists in the
Entries data. Information
includes division, losses, and the round in which the second loss occurred.
Click here for information on interpreting City
Winners.
Address Labels:
Prints labels in City order for entries with a City entered. Designed
for 1 x 2 5/8 labels (Avery 5972 or equivalent.)
Formats:
The save dialog allows saving the report in one of five formats:
1. .QRP The normal style, used only within the RaceManager.
2. .HTM Web page style but appearance depends on screen size and its
difficult to edit or change.
3. .TXT Plain ASCII text, the most universal.
4. .RTF Rich Text Format, ASCII with fonts, colors, etc. The most
useful.
5. .XLS Excel spreadsheet but it may need work to remove the extra
text.
