Also reported as RaceManager will run from the installation but not from the desktop icon.

Solution: Right click on the desktop RaceManager icon and select 'Properties'. Be sure that the 'Start In' shows "C:\SuperTimer II" Use the double quotes and be sure there's a space between SuperTimer and II. (case not important) Click on Apply, then click on OK.

Please don't try to run RaceManager from a folder other than C:\SuperTimer II. Please don't move RaceManager data files to a folder other than C:\SuperTimer II.

In addition, with versions prior to 1.65, a direct program exit from the Entries screen could cause a corrupt dataset. Solutions include a reinstall, especially a current version as well as the following. Make a copy of "pinewood group.dat", erase the file "group.dat", change the "pinewood group.dat" copy's name to "group.dat". This will allow program reentry. You can then change the name of the active dataset to your name and resume operation. It is recommended that you also install a current version.
